1. Who operates this site

This website is operated by Veritas Medical (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/414352/07), trading as Veritas Healthcare Complex, of 11 Beach Road, Mossel Bay, Western Cape, 6506, South Africa. References to "we", "us" and "our" are to that company.

2. This site is not medical advice

Everything on this website is general information about the Veritas platform and the services it intends to offer. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read here. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

3. This site is not an offer of investment

The Investment pages describe an opportunity in general terms. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest, nor does it constitute financial, legal, tax or investment advice.

Any investment would be made only on the basis of separate, formal documentation. Prospective investors should obtain independent professional advice.

4. Forward-looking and illustrative content

The Veritas Healthcare Complex is in development. Much of what this site describes has not been built. Specifically:

• Images are illustrative. Architectural renders and interior visualisations depict design intent, not completed buildings or actual facilities, and may differ from what is ultimately constructed.
• Facilities and services are planned, not available.Descriptions of clinical services, technology and education programmes reflect current intentions and may change.
• Figures and phasing are indicative. Market data, benefit ranges and the development roadmap are estimates and projections. They are subject to change and are not guarantees of outcome.

5. Accuracy

We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and content may be changed or removed at any time without notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, renders, the Veritas name, logo and other marks, and the design and arrangement of the site — is owned by or licensed to Veritas Medical (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African and international law.

You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own non-commercial use. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, adapt or distribute any part of it without our prior written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site unlawfully, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• submit false information, or another person's details without their permission, through any form on the site;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
• introduce malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the proper working of the site; or
• extract or harvest data from the site by automated means.

8. Enquiries submitted through this site

Information you submit through an enquiry form is handled as described in our Privacy Notice. Please do not send sensitive health information through these forms — they are for general enquiries and are not a secure clinical channel.

9. Links to other sites

Where this site links to a third-party website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Availability

We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it without notice.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Your rights under that Act are not affected by anything you read here.

Subject to that, this website is provided for general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information published here, from the site being unavailable or containing an error, or from any third-party site we link to. Nothing in this clause affects our obligations in respect of healthcare services once those are being provided — those are governed by the terms under which the service is delivered, not by this website.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version and date appear at the top of this page, and the amended terms take effect when published.
